MainStay Investments announced that they will acquire four equity mutual funds managed by Epoch Investment Partners Inc., (Epoch). The funds will be sub-advised by Epoch, which William W. Priest, CEO and co-CIO, founded in 2004. Mainstay will also distribute Epoch’s separately managed accounts, according to a July 9th release.

Out of the four funds MainStay is buying, three of them have four-star ratings from Morningstar: Epoch Global Equity Shareholder Yield (EPSYX), Epoch International Small Cap (EPIEX) and Epoch US All Cap Equity (EPACX). After forthcoming shareholder approval, the funds, with over $750 million in assets' will be renamed “MainStay Epoch” mutual funds.

MainStay Investments is a d/b/a name for New York Life Investments.
