A bond research portal is the newest addition to MarketScope Advisor (MSA), which is part of Standard and Poor’s (S&P) Equity Research services.
The Bond portal gives advisors a plethora of information on the bond market, ranging from ratings by S&P’s rating services to screening tools and market commentary. The portal allows advisors to examine corporate bonds, municipal offerings, agency bonds, and treasuries.
Using the Bond Ladder Builder, a feature of the bond portal, advisors have can utilize calculators as they look for investment securities for their clients. The portal gives advisors the ability to analyze 45,000 global bond issuers and over 200,000 individual bonds in all of the aforementioned categories.
In a August 26th announcement, Andrea Remyn, managing director at Standard & Poor’s Equity Research Services said, “By adding this tool to our already robust MarketScope Advisor Platform, we’re continuing our commitment to bringing high-quality, independent research to the advisor marketplace designed to meet their needs and those of their clients.”
