For more than a decade, McBride ran new-media startups, creating groundbreaking, interactive financial content. She has worked with Reuters, Prodigy, Lipper Analytical, Dow Jones and CBS MarketWatch, among others. As an editor, senior producer, correspondent and columnist, McBride has reported on-air, in print and on the Web.
Early in her career she was a stockbroker; bond underwriter and trader; and an investment advisor. She is a steering group member of The Committee for the Fiduciary Standard.
McBride earned a BA from New York University, and in 2009 completed the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. McBride has held NASD (now FINRA) Series 7 and futures; insurance and real estate licenses.  JAMES J. GREENEDITORIAL DIRECTOR Jamie Green is Editoral Director of Investment Advisor and Wealth Manager magazines. He has more than 20 years experience in print and electronic journalism. In the 1980s he was editor of Tele/Scope, a pioneering electronic news service based in New York that covered telecommunications business and research, and was editor of Telecommunications Research, a monthly journal. In the 1990s he worked for nine years at The New York Times, where was editor of TimesFax, an electronic version of the newspaper of record now known as Times Digest, and edited The New York Times Large Type Weekly. While at The Times, he led the editorial team that expanded distribution of TimesFax to remote corners of every continent on Earth, to every ship in the U.S. Navy, to scores of cruise ships, and to the international space station. He joined what was then Dow Jones Investment Advisor in 1999 as managing editor, was appointed editor of Investment Advisor magazine in 2000, and editor-in-chief in 2005. He holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from St. Hyacinth College in Granby, Massachusetts, and studied theology on the graduate level at St. Anthony-on-the-Hudson, Renselaer, New York.
